About our design

The map of New Zealand represents the beautiful country we are lucky enough to call home. If you look closely, you’ll notice the footprints on the North Island—they mark the Waitomo District.

The bush and trees capture the magical landscape we live in, while the sparkling stars symbolise the glowworms that make our caves so special! You’ll also spot a caver (Ash!) dressed in our signature striped outfit, with his head torch casting light into the distance.

This design started as a hand-carved lino-stamp by our daughter Kaitlin, which gives it a unique texture and charm. Maybe we’re a little biased, but we absolutely LOVE it—and we think Kaitlin is pretty clever too!
